Fire Performance In accordance with the Australian Tests on AS 1530.3 ( in the absence of the SABS having its own similar tests ) it was found that the Airothene Geyser Blanket had a Zero rated Index for Ignitability , Heat Evolved , Spread of Flame .
Toxicity All Airothene closed cell polyethylene foams contain a Fire Retardant Additive to prevent accidental ignition from small fire sources , and will NOT support combustion . While little smoke is developed if the product ignites , the smoke is Non-Toxic with no carbon monoxide or hydrogen cyanide .
